Jesus Said it Best

Time For Truth
Was Jesus God in the flesh? If you ask a Muslim, they will tell you no, he was only a prophet. If you ask an athiest, he will tell you there is no God so how could Jesus be someone who does not exist.
If you ask many cults, they will tell you he was neither a prophet nor a madman, he was an angel. If you ask the average person, they will tell you he was not a prophet, angel, God or otherwise, he was merely a man who did good works.
None stand up to scrutiny. Yeah they argue that Jesus was merely saying that he existed before Abraham and was prophesied to come before Abraham existed and this is what He meant. This type of circular logic is where evolution came from.
They tried to stone Jesus not because He said he was prophesied to come. They tried to stone Him because they fully understood the implications of what He was saying. He was in fact claiming to be their creator!
If this were not the case, when Jesus asked, "For which of My good works are you intending to stone Me?" They would not have answered thusly. "Not for any of your good works do we seek to stone you, but because you being a Man claim to be the Son of God making yourself equal to God."
Their statement means they fully understood what Jesus had declared to them. But Jesus willing to use their own logic against them said, "It is written in Your law (separating their law from God's law because they were not God's children), I said, 'Ye are gods. If then, He called them gods unto whom the Word of God came, say thou that I blaspheme because I said I am the Son of God?"
Jesus is not agreeing with their law that he is a god (little "g"). He is merely pointing out that their authority which they use as religious leaders is based upon what they see in Scripture in their twisted way of looking at it.
He knows they are abusing what was meant to be a very pure logic and command of God to honor His laws, but they have substituted their laws for God's. Yet he wants them to see that by their own admission, God is not unwilling to share His authority!
God shares His authority with His Divine Son Jesus Christ. "Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who although He existed in the form of God (was a man), thought it not robbery to be equal with God." You can research this Scripture out.
So then the apostles understood that Jesus understood Himself to be equal with God. He is still in subjection to God, but His authority is one and the same as if God the Father had issued His commands, because as Jesus said, "I do always those things that please the Father."
Jesus the Son only makes laws or decisions in line with the will of His Father. He is perfect in every way. He did not say I sometimes do the will of My Father in heaven. He always does His will because He is His Son.
This means He has His Father's Spirit dwelling in Him. His very life is the same life that is in the Father. Yes, Jesus is God. He is also man. He is both. His Spirit is God. His Flesh is man. His flesh is ruled by His Spirit.
No, I feel no shame for calling Jesus God. For He alone is the image of the invisible God. Were it not for Jesus, we could not know who God is. Jesus said it best, "He who has seen 'Me' has seen the Father!"
Or tell me oh man, had you not read the Bible, what would you about God? Jesus IS the very WORD OF GOD. Jesus is our Bible. He is the living WORD OF GOD. Without your Bible, you would be lost concerning anything having to do with God. It is the very WORD that reveals to us EVERYTHING about God.
God bless you the reader.
